We haven’t gone…

I just wanted to let people know that we have not let this site to rot and have not abandoned it. In fact, I am sad that I can’t update this website with goodies.

I’m going to be pretty honest here and say it’s due to financial situations at the moment why this website has not been updated. We’ve been going through a slump and have opted to pay bills than pay for ingredients for baked goods.

Things are slowly getting sorted out and I hope to be updating Frosted Fantasie with goodies very very soon.

I just thought everyone should know what was going on. So hang tight with us! We will be back.

We’re not gone!

I’m totally not gone from baking or this site! I haven’t taken pictures of any of the cupcakes I have baked recently. In fact, I have only baked a few cupcakes in between Halloween and now. Lame, I know. I was on a strike because I wanted a stand alone mixer!

It was a good thing I was too. While doing Christmas baking my hand mixer gave up! The motor worked but the beaters did not spin! So, my husband made a mixer with his drill! Funny stuff! Makes the holidays wonderful.

Speaking of making the holidays wonderful let me tell you what I got..cooking related of course!

A Kitchenaid Stand Alone Mixer!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooo excited about this. It didn’t come with the wire whisk though..but that’s okay! Jamie got it during the Black Friday sale and I am just so stoked that I have one. I’m horrible though, I haven’t used it yet! Perhaps today…Pictures will be taken from here on out! I

I also have birthday cake making to do pretty darn soon as we have two birthdays in the beginning of January! Hope everyone had a great Christmas as well!

Early Christmas presents rock!

My mom bought me an early Christmas present that she couldn’t stand to let sit in her room for two months before giving it to me. That’s okay with me when I saw what it was! She got me the book Hello, Cupcake! I wanted this book too! I was looking through it and it has so many cute cupcakes to make that I can’t wait. Of course there is also a lot of cupcake recipes that I will be trying out.  I really can’t wait until Christmas time so that I can make the Snowmen cupcakes without looking funny! This book also gives a lot of ideas on what to decorate with and where to get different supplies like liners. I love it so much!
