Mother’s Day Cake Balls

This Mother’s Day instead of buying something for my Mom I decided to make her something. Of course it was something that I had been wanting to make for awhile. Cake balls!

So off I went making these balls. They’re pretty easy but time consuming when you’re doing two batches. Geesh! I still feel the tiredness in my feet! Okay, maybe not but it was a lot of standing.

I even did some blue ones for her, which she didn’t like the color. Pfft. They were pretty.

Of course I didn’t stage any pictures so all you have are these sitting on the wax paper and the ones in the box before closing the lid. However, you get the jest.

While making and trying these I have found that I don’t think I’m a fan of red velvet cake. I didn’t think they tasted very good. So next time I’ll just stick with other cake flavors! But these were delicious and enjoyed!
